We offer many different confidential services, depending on individual circumstances. There are no requirements for using our services other than identitying as female and expressing a need. There is no minimum or maximum to length of time we offer our support.

We never charge and do not ask for anything. Since we are volunteer-based and 100% privately funded through anonymous donors, we do not share information with any other agencies. In fact, many women choose to participate anonymously by giving a pseudonym or first name only. We encourage women to always do what feels right and safe for themselves.

Our services are on a case-by-case basis. We may offer assistance in finding the best local resources that can assist with your next steps toward healing and recovery or long term support. In other cases, there may be needs that Tara providers can address directly, sometimes on an ongoing basis. Though we interact with other agencies and groups while offering you our support, we do not identify ourselves as Tara members. Similar to the 12 Step Tradition, we are not affiliated with any other groups, we do not promote or sell our services, we are known simply by word-of-mouth and strive to remain out of the limelight.
