What we do

Tara Sansthan aspires to impart social services to the poor and those under poverty line residing specially in rural, tribal, backward and slum areas within the country, without any discrimination on the basis of sex, religion, state or cast in general. In particular, Sansthan intends to render services for the surgical treatment of cataract, create awareness for the cause and effects of cataract ailment, help the widowed women and support the needy old aged persons. For the accomplishment of its vision, Tara Sansthan plans to provide free of cost facilities of cataract operations for rural public in general and population living below poverty line and those living in tribal areas in particular.
